COCO BEACH VILLAGE

COCO BEACH VILLAGE is an exciting new "Americanized" style and ecologically friendly development for Ecuador. Throughout Latin America, nearly every coastal city and town has a malecon. This is a street that separates the beach from any residences or businesses. At Coco Beach, we have persuaded the local government to detour from the Latin American practice of allowing the driving of cars and trucks on the most beautiful stretch of land. Thus, THERE WILL NEVER BE A MALECON HERE! "CBV is a gated community with security watchman to restrict public access. Being in a safe and quiet place with little traffic, we have chosen to keep the open feeling by not being walled in." City water and underground electric is available to each lot. It mixes its use of green areas onto the lots instead of in just two or three areas within the development. Thus making all of Coco Beach Village green space with beautiful coastal vistas.
Your lot is off to a good start, as there are well over 1000 coconut palms inside the development, thus the name! The property is nestled between the warm blue Pacific waters and the low coastal hills. The gentle upward sweep of elevation from beach to hill insures lot owners spectacular panoramic views. On your building site, you may choose to build from single story to approved two story home designs on the beachfront lots while the off-ocean lots may be approved with up to three story homes.
The property comprises approximately 21 acres with 1/3 of a mile of virgin beach frontage and is plated with 66 large lots. Half of the lots have direct beachfront and the other half are only separated from the beach by about 100 feet with easy access via convenient walkways.
El Matal is a peaceful and tranquil village of hospitable people. Part of the beauty of CBV is in the solitude. We just don't get the throngs of partygoers that many other coastal villages cater to. El Matal has a handful of small stores, eateries and small hotels while nearby Jama offers many service providers and retail shops. CBV is located at the North end of this quiet fishing village and just four newly paved miles from the city of Jama.
Ecuador has no restrictions from foreign owned real estate. A CBV lot purchase guarantees titled, permanent ownership which is recorded by the City of Jama.
To familiarize yourself with the area, get a free download of Google Earth. After you have finished the download, under “Fly To”, type in Jama, Ecuador. You will need to scroll out until you see the coast. Now move the pointer over toward the coast near the 11:00 o'clock position. You will see a blue "Panaramio" bubble which will take you to Coco Beach Village.
